Agent

Agent is a component within Vose that performs discovery and indexing tasks. It consists of one or multiple agents that can run on a single machine and/or cloud environment which is integrated within an instance of HQ. Agents are the entities that do the actual indexing in Vose. When you create a new Repository in your instance, you choose the Agent that will conduct the indexing. New agents can be added to an instance in HQ to handle more indexing jobs at a time and can also be grouped together to handle specific indexing roles. While HQ itself has the ability to index, it is more likely that there will be one or more Agents available to do the indexing.
