Enabling Field Editing

NOTE:

Field Editing requires Voyager's Community Extension. This is standard with the Pro license and can be purchased for the Basic license.  Contact sales@voyagersearch.com to add this extension to your Basic license.

Enabling Field Editing

To enable Field Editing:

  1. Go to Manage Voyager > Security > Permissions 

  2. Make sure that Edit Fields is enabled (i.e. has a checkmark and not an X)

Editing Fields

You Edit Fields in the Detail Page section of a Display Template.  To Edit Fields:

  • Go to Manage Voyager > My Displays > Display Templates

  • Select the Template you wish to edit and click the Edit icon

  • On the Edit Display Template page, click the Edit icon for the Detail Page

  • Select Customize Display Fields under Configure Details Table Display Fields

  • Click Edit to show the Select Fields dialog

  • Click the down arrow next to a Field to show the Editable checkbox

  • Check the Editable box for the Fields you wish to edit

  • Click OK when you are done

  • Click Save to save the Detail Page selections

  • Click Save to save the Display Template
