Importing Index Snapshots

You can import Index Snapshots from either the local machine and its network or from another Voyager server. 

To Import a Snapshot:

  1. Go to Manage Voyager > Index > Backup and Restore > Snapshots

  2. Click Import Snapshot

  3. In the Import Snapshot dialog, choose:

  • This Server to import a Snapshot from this Voyager Server instance

  • My Computer to import a Snapshot from your computer and any network drives connected to it

  1. Browse to the Snapshot location

  2. Click Import Snapshot

The Snapshot now appears in the Snapshot list.  

 

Once the Snapshot is imported, you can Apply it to your index, either by merging it in or completely replacing the Index with the contents of the Snapshot.
