Document Transformer Profiles

Creating and Using Document Transformer Profiles

The default Document Transformer Profile is (standard), and it is applied when indexing all Voyager locations unless you have specified a different profile. Administrators can create alternate profiles to apply different sequences of Document Transformers to specific locations.

To create an alternate Document Transformer profile:

  1. Navigate to Manage Voyager > Discovery > Pipeline > Document Transformers

  2. Configure the Document Transformers as needed

  3. Enter a name for the new profile in the Registry field and press Enter

  4. Click Edit to save the profile into Voyager’s configurations.

  5. Add, Re-Order, Test, Edit and/or Remove individual Document Transformer steps in the profile.

  6. Click Save to save the new or updated Document Transformer steps into the profile.

Other Options

  • Save - Save the current Profile

  • Default- Default to revert the currently active profile to the default sequence of Document Transformer steps.

  • Remove - Remove the currently active profile from Voyager’s collection of Document Transformer Profiles.

  • Test - Test to prototype the effects of the whole Document Transformer profile, not just its individual steps.

Editing Document Transformer Profiles

To add a Document Transformer to a transformation profile: 

  • Select a Document Transformer Profile

  • Click Edit to add or remove Transformers

  • Choose the Document Transformer you wish to add from the drop-down list and configure as needed

  • Click Add to append the selected Document Transformer to the list of document transformers in the current profile

  • Click Save to save changes to the current profile
