Configuring Extraction Timeouts for Specific File Formats

Configuring Extraction Timeouts for Specific File Formats

You can configure indexing timeouts specific to a file format to make sure that Voyager doesn't run out of time extracting those records.  You can also use timeouts to make sure that probematic file types don't impede the overall extraction process.

To configure Extraction Timeouts:

  1. Go to Manage Voyager > Discovery > Discovery Configuration

  2. In the Extraction Timeout panel, use the Format Search field to find the file format to manage

  3. Enter a Timeout value

  4. Click Add to include another file format

  5. You can also change the Default timeout value here; you do not need to specifiy a file format

  6. Click Save when you are done
