FTP Locations

To add an FTP directory:

  1. Go to Manage Voyager > Discovery > Locations to display the Locations page

  2. Click the New Location button

  3. Select Folder from the list of data sources

  4. Enter the URL of the FTP directory into the address bar

  5. Click AddAfter you've added the ftp folder, it will appear in the Locations list. In this example, the folder contains shapefiles.

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTE

Voyager will download all of the files in the FTP folder.  This may lead to storage or performance issues, depending on the size of the folder being downloaded.  Make sure there is enough space to download the folder contents before you begin.
