Voyager HQ Overview

HQ is the central control center for the new indexing scheme introduced in Vose.  It orchestrates the indexing process and manages the new Flex Index. It works in concert with Voyager Server, which provides Management controls, Processing, display of Search results and Analytics.

If HQ is already running, you can open it from the drop-down menu at the top right.

HQ has three main areas:

• Indexing

• System

• Settings

 Indexing

 Indexing functions include:

• Managing and configuring content Repositories (equivalent to Locations in Voyager Server) 

• Viewing and managing Indexing Status

• Managing Pipelines

• Managing Formats

• Managing Extractors

• Managing Indexing Agents

System

• System Info - Including settings for the connected Voyager Server instance, location of HQ directories such as Data, Logs and Temp, HQ Version information and information for the system on which HQ is running

• Restart / Shutdown - lets users restart or shutdown HQ

Settings

In the Settings item, you can:

• Manage your license

• Configure HTTP Client Settings
