This Processing task extracts coordinates, user-defined place names, dates and other critical information from unstructured data and creates a new output feature class.

To run this task in Navigo:

  • Click the Cart icon and select New Task from the drop-down menu

  • Select LocateXT ArcGIS Tool from the Task menu

  • Choose an Output Format (CSV is the default):

  • Click Run Task

Supported File Types

This task supports all type of text files, PDFs and Office documents.

Usage Notes

  • This task requires ClearTerra’s LocateXT Desktop software and license (http://www.clearterra.com/software_downloads/)

  • This task also requires ArcGIS for Desktop (Basic, Standard or Advanced license)

  • By default, the output type is a CSV file but can also be KML, Shapefile or File Geodatabase
