Publish to ArcGIS Server

You can publish search results as a Map Service to ArcGIS Server.

To run this task in the Navigo UI:

  • Cick the Cart icon and select New Task from the drop-down menu

  • Select  Publish to ArcGIS Server from the task menu

  • Enter the ArcCatalog path to ArcGIS for Server

  • Enter a Service Name

  • Enter a Folder Name

  • Click Run Task to begin processing

Supported File Types

This task supports the following file types:

  • Map documents (.mxd)

  • Map packages (.mpk)

  • Layer packages (.lpk)

  • Layer files (.lyr)

  • Feature classes

  • Raster datasets

Usage Notes

Requirements

  • ArcGIS 10.x

  • The Portal URL is required. It can be a URL to ArcGIS Online or to a private portal.

  • The portal username and password are required.

  • The service name is required. This name can only contain alphanumeric characters and underscores. No spaces or special characters are allowed.

Folder Name

The folder name is optional. If the folder does not exist, Voyager creates it. This name can only contain alphanumeric characters and underscores - no spaces or special characters are allowed.
