Publish to Portal for ArcGIS

This Processing task publishes results as a map service to Portal for ArcGIS. 

To run this task in the Navigo UI:

  • Cick the Cart icon and select New Task from the drop-down menu

  • Select Publish to ArcGIS for Portal from the task menu

  • Enter the Portal for ArcGIS URL or ArcGIS Online

  • Enter a username and password for ArcGIS

  • Enter the Service Name

  • Specify a folder name (optional)

  • Click Run Task to begin processing

Supported File Types

This task supports the following file types:

  • Map documents (.mxd)

  • Map packages (.mpk)

  • Layer packages (.lpk)

  • Layer files (.lyr)

  • Feature classes

  • Raster datasets

Usage Notes

  • This portal URL is required. It can be a URL to ArcGIS Online or to a private portal.

  • The portal username and password are required.

  • The service name is required. This name can only contain alphanumeric characters and underscores. No spaces or special characters are allowed.

  • The folder name is optional. If the folder does not exist, it will be created. This name can only contain alphanumeric characters and underscores. No spaces or special characters are allowed.

  • Requires ArcGIS 10.x
