Indexing Databases in HQ

In HQ, users can add database repositories where each record in a database table becomes a record in the Index. 

To index a database:

 

 

  1. Click Repositories in the main HQ window

  2. Click Add New

  3. Choose Database as the type of repository to add and click Next

  4. Select one of the database types in the drop-down menu:

  • Java Database Connectivity (JDBC)

  • Oracle SpatialPostGIS

  • Spatial Database

  • Solr Search Index

  1. Enter the Connection Information required by that database type

  2. Click Next to continue the Add Repository process
